I was so excited to dine at Nobu again. My Little Tokyo tempura experience in Paris last May left me craving for those light crispy fluffy nuggets of seafood. However, I was disappointed, Nobu Fifty Seven’s tempura options did not meet my standards. We ordered lobster tempura and shrimp tempura. Both options failed miserably. Tempura should be crispy and light not heavily battered with flour.
 
Moreover, Nobu Fifty Seven is a shadow of the Nobu in London. The only cool thing is the bar and the tuna tartar. The sashimi wasn’t that great either.
