Continental Midtown, Philadelphia

I took advantage of summer hours at work and zipped out of the office at 3pm last Friday. My first stop was at Continental Midtown. I needed a drink to celebrate an accomplishment at work. I heard the cocktails here were fabulous. I asked my server for recommendations. I like my cocktail fruity and sweet. Melon Drop was perfect.
 
Since I haven’t had a bite to eat since 10am, I ordered something light. Crispy Calamari and Grilled Scallops. They were ok. The proportion of veggies to calamari was 98% veggies and the 2% calamari. Diners beware. And, I should have ordered my scallops medium rare. Live and learn.
 
Oh well, I was here for the cocktail. C’est la vie.
